She-Jitsu Camp: February 2017

Early Registration: $150 (Before February 15th)

Although no self-defense course is ever a full guarantee of safety, this course is designed to help women learn how to neutralize knock out punches, remain calm and manage a safe distance during an attack, set healthy boundaries that could lower the risk of sexual assault, and create a personal safety plan for the most common attacks used against women.

Full of practical advice backed up by psychological studies of predatory behavior, this course is suitable for any girl over 13, but students younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

One of the most terrifying positions a woman can find herself during an attack is on the ground.

This course will show you how it’s possible to break free from an attacker who grabs you unexpectedly, avoid being taken to the ground, and how to get out from underneath an attacker if you do find yourself there.

THIS COURSE IS FOCUSED ON HOW TO:

Stay safe against an attacker that is much bigger & stronger.

Neutralize knock out punches.

How to remain calm & manage a safe distance during an attack.

Set healthy boundaries that could lower our risk of sexual assault.

Create a personal safety plan for the most common attacks used against women.

ADDITIONAL TOPICS COVERED:

How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.

How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.

How to escape from underneath an attacker who has you pinned.

How to transform fear into power.

She-Jitsu Seminars

She-Jitsu founder and CEO Jennifer Gray started her company not just as a way to provide men and women’s apparel and self-defense instruction, but also to have a vehicle to share her vision for empowerment for women.

She-Jitsu is accomplishing that that goal by offering self-defense seminars and multi-day camps that give women practical, jiu-jitsu based skills to physically resist attacks and psychological insights into the strategies of attackers in order to help them avoid risk.

The principles taught in the seminars and camps help women defend themselves physically against a bigger, stronger opponent, and remain calm during an attack. Women also receive instruction that assists them in setting healthy boundaries that can lower the risk of sexual assault and they get guidance on creating a personal safety plan for the most common types of attacks against women.

Hosting a camp or a seminar for your female employees, students, your daughter’s dorm floor mates, or just getting together a group of friends for a Ladies’ Night with a twist is one way you can be a part of the movement to reduce the epidemic of sexual violence against women.

The next She Jitsu Seminar will be held on January 20 at 7 p.m. at the Redline Jiu Jitsu Academy, 745 Enterprise Dr. Ste 100, Edmond, OK, 73013. $25

10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Prison Yoga Project
